Don't waste valuable time meeting with salesman

I have visited quite a few hundred law firms in the last two years. Each lawyer I met with charged an hourly rate of between $150 - $450 an hour for their services. A question I always ask is why would you spend your time meeting with sales reps when you can easily hire me to make the first meeting and weed through the junk for a lot less money than what it cost for them to meet with salesman? The usual answer I get is because they want to stay involved in their practice. One of the services I offer is to meet as a first line gate keeper for the attorney. I write a report and offer recommendations based on my marketing experience and pass it on to the attorney. The attorney can then decide whether they would like to move forward and set a second meeting or have me do what I think is best. Some lawyers spend at least 8 hours a month meeting with sales people. Don't you think it would cost much less to allow a marketing expert assist?
